Minerals Day

Join the Earth Science Week team in raising awareness of and appreciation for minerals and mineralogy among the general public as well as K-12 and higher education students and teachers in both formal and informal educational settings. The American Geosciences Institute and the Mineralogical Society of America are developing materials, organizing outreach, and collaborating with geoscience partners in government agencies, professional associations, private corporations, and other groups to gear up for the 2021 celebration on October 11th.
